Doa Buka Puasa Sunnah or Sunat:

As baca doa puasa a sunnah fast is a very significance act of worship which brings immense awards. By following this Sunnah we can gain spiritual virtues and expressing gratitude to Allah. Sunan Abi Dawood contains a hadith.

Ibn Umar (RA) said that when the Prophet (SAW) was about to break his fast, he would say this doa.

(ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ، وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ، وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ)

(Maksudnya): “The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened and the reward is confirmed, inshaAllah.”

According to Imam al-Nawawi in Al-Azkar:

  • The word (“𝗮𝗹-𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗮𝗵 (الظَّمَأُ)“)in the hadith signifies thirst,
  • As highlighted dalam Allah SWT’s words,
  • ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ لَا يُصِيبُهُمْ ظَمَأٌ
  • Maksudnya: “Yang demikian kerana sesungguhnya (tiap-tiap kali) mereka merasai dahaga”. [Lihat: al-Taubah:120]

Baca doa buka Puasa:

So we should doa to Allah SWT in any situation but as long as it does not contradict the Quran and Hadith.

  • Maksudnya: “Ya Allah kerana-Mu aku berpuasa, Dengan-Mu aku beriman, kepada-Mu aku berserah dan dengan rezeki-Mu aku berbuka (puasa) dengan rahmat-Mu, Ya Allah Tuhan Maha Pengasih”

  • Maksudnya: “Ya Allah kerana-Mu aku berpuasa, Dengan-Mu aku beriman, kepada-Mu aku berserah dan dengan rezeki-Mu aku berbuka (puasa) dengan rahmat-Mu, Ya Allah Tuhan Maha Pengasih”

While doa buka dalam Ramadhan is also a sunat in islam. we should recite this doa before eating and must follows the Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings. Here is Rumi translation of the doa.

Rumi:

(Allahumma laka shumtu wa bika aamantu wa ‘alaa rizqika afthartu birahmatika yaa arhamar raahimiin)

Doa buka puasa ganti dan dalam in rajab

Here is given main difference between the ganti dan dalam Rajab according to the Sunnah:

  • doa puasa dalam Rajab: such as, Rajab is one of the sacred months in Islam. As reciting this doa before iftar dala Rajab increase faith, closer to Allah & prepare for Ramadhan.
  • buka puasa ganti: this is for those who are missed fasts (qadah)from Ramadhan due to specific reasions like, travel, illness or menstruation.

The Virtue of Dua Before Iftar:
